Most PR agencies quote on request, then bill by retainer. We publish what things cost, because opacity is the complaint we hear most often from the people who come to us. Below is what we do, what it costs, and what it does not include.

What this is for

Founders, artists, researchers and executives usually need the same thing before an application, a funding round, a board seat or an endorsement: a public record that a serious editor thought their work was worth covering. That record is built by editorial coverage in established independent publications, and it takes weeks rather than days.

The packages

Single Feature — £950. One editorial feature in an established independent UK publication. Includes the interview, the writing, editorial review and publication. Suitable when you need one solid, citable piece.

Credibility Pack — £2,500. Two editorial features plus assistance in securing an independent critical review of your work, over 60 to 90 days. This is the package most clients take, because two independent pieces plus a critical assessment read as a pattern rather than a one-off.

Authority Pack — £6,500. Four editorial features, an independent critical review, digital footprint work (a consolidated profile hub and cleanup of your search results) and preparation of materials for an award submission. For people building an evidence base over a quarter rather than a month.

Credits: a Single Feature is credited against the Credibility Pack if you upgrade within 30 days; a Credibility Pack is credited against the Authority Pack within 60 days.

The Talent Registry (no charge, by selection)

A profile in the BGTC Talent Registry costs nothing and is granted by editorial selection rather than payment. You send your achievements, we review them against a published checklist, and we say yes or no within five working days. A registry profile is a calling card. An editorial feature is evidence. The difference matters when someone is assessing you.

What we do not do

• We do not guarantee placement in any named title, and we do not promise coverage tone. Editors decide what they publish and how.
• We do not provide immigration advice. Where a client is working towards a visa route we set out what evidence is usually expected and introduce accredited advisers who are regulated to give that advice.
• We do not write anything we cannot support. If the achievements are not there yet, we say so before taking money.

Membership

Membership of the Council is a separate matter and is not sold with these packages. It is granted after review, and admitted members pay annual dues. Buying publication work neither helps nor hinders an application. See Membership for the criteria.

How to start
